ATXs’ core business is the virtual distribution of secure electronic reloads (predominantly prepaid airtime at present) and transactional services across its touch points
The Company’s strategy is to extend its reach to various touch points, to meet market demands for the delivery of multiple prepaid products and services, across various delivery mechanisms and via numerous merchants or vendors.
Within emerging and developing economies, the supply of products and services via prepaid channels is becoming an increasingly significant distribution model. This is because the distribution of physical product is often not cost effective with additional cost incurred for transportation, warehousing, labour and insurances for losses.
ATX’s ability to develop and distribute prepaid products and services through its touch points has allowed it to offer products and services to consumers and bridge the “access” gap.
In summary, ATX is able to enhance the consumers’ ability to transact conveniently, affordably and with greater accessibility and choice.
